AC/DC - 24.05.2009 - Ernst Happel Station, Vienna

Well the story starts in very late 2008 when pre-sales started for AC/DC Tickets - i was at my local bank and waited 45 minutes getting excuses that the ticketsystem is not reachable, and finally getting told all tickets are sold out. DAMN IT!!
I watched the websites if I could get normal priced tickets somehow and finally I got aware of a second charge of tickets being released - and got it, Dude! I had 4 seating tickets somewhere in the stadium - but I didn't care, I had ticket for my first AC/DC concert in life! One of the tickets I gave to my father as christmas present, the other 2 went to my friends from the office - Niklas, aka "the horny bock" and our islandic poker queen Johanna.

Sunday morning, 24.5.2009 - it's 9:00 in the morning and I'm already awake, normally I sleep until 11:00 or even 13:00. But hey today's AC/DC!!!
My friends and I decided to have some starter beers at Santa Cruz in the Prater before the concerts and hundreds of fans already passed us by and crowding the area. We had some nice food and some pinchers of beer. The ribs and steaks are really good there! We were afraid of bad weather coming up as predicted but as you can see it stayed pretty good.

We then walked over to the stadium making some joke like "for those about to walk..." and also met some guys trying to sell their leftover tickets for the double of the normal price and walked all around the stadium to get to our section. We had very much luck with our seats because they were just 4 (so no standup-sitdown actions for those late coming people) and the view was ok too.

It's half an hour to the start of AC/DC and it's my turn bringing beers. Well, you can imagine what's coming up next? Right, dozens of other people had the same idea and this dumbasses at the buffet produced beer on demand instead of preparing some and selling them quicker. It took me ages (35 minutes) to get 3 fucking beers and get back to my seat. And of course AC/DC had already began playing and I missed their entrance with Rock'n'Roll Train - Thank you SUCKERS from the Happel Stadion!!! But whatever, I enjoyed the rest of the concert with my buddies and had a very great time.
